Hairy Buffalo Punch is the ultimate crowd-pleaser, a bold, fruit-forward cocktail punch made for parties. Tropical and citrus juices, fresh fruit, and a splash of fizz temper this boozy blend of vodka, tequila, gin, and bourbon. It’s easy to prepare in large batches and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients (serves 12–16)

Spirits

  • 4 oz Vodka
  • 4 oz Tequila
  • 4 oz Gin
  • 4 oz Bourbon

Juices & Mixers

  • 32 oz Fruit Punch (not overly sweet)
  • 16 oz Cranberry or Cran-Raspberry Juice
  • 16 oz Orange or Pineapple Juice
  • 1 liter Ginger Ale (added just before serving)

Fruit & Garnish

  • 2 cups fresh fruit (orange slices, pineapple chunks, strawberries)
  • Ice cubes or frozen punch ice ring

Steps to Make It

  1. Mix the Base
In a large punch bowl or clean beverage cooler, combine the vodka, tequila, gin, bourbon, fruit punch, cranberry juice, and orange or pineapple juice. Stir well.
  2. Chill
Cover and refrigerate the punch for at least 2 hours to let the flavors meld. For best results, chill overnight.
  3. Prepare the Fruit and Ice
Slice the fresh fruit and freeze an ice ring using some of the punch to avoid dilution (optional). Otherwise, have plenty of ice cubes ready.
  4. Finish and Serve
Just before serving, add the fruit and ice to the punch. Slowly pour in the ginger ale and stir gently. Ladle into glasses filled with fresh ice.

Tip: Keep extra ginger ale on the side so guests can top off their glasses with some fizz as needed.
