Profile
Halloween Punch is an easy, alcohol-free party punch in all the colors of the season. Grape juice and fizzy soda fill the bowl with a deep purple base, and scoops of lime and orange sherbet float on top, slowly melting into a foamy layer of green and orange. It looks festive, tastes like a fizzy grape float and takes about five minutes to make.
The recipe is wonderfully flexible. Club soda keeps it lighter and less sweet, ginger ale adds a little spice, and lemon-lime soda makes it sweeter and more kid-friendly. Any of them work, and so does a mix. It serves about 20 and is perfect for a family party where kids and adults are drinking from the same table.
Glass: Punch bowl | Strength: Non-alcoholic | Serves: 20 | Prep Time: 5 minutes
Bartenders tip: Chill the juice and soda well before mixing, and add the sherbet right before guests arrive so the scoops still float. For an adult bowl, set it next to a bottle of vodka or rum so grown-ups can spike their own cups, and keep the main bowl alcohol-free.
