Green Monster Party Punch is a seriously big batch made for Halloween parties. A full bottle of vodka is mixed with fruit juice, lime drink mix and a whole gallon of lime sherbet, which melts into a foamy, slimy green punch that looks exactly like something a monster would drink. A few slices of fresh fruit float on top.
It is sweet, tangy and creamy, with the sherbet turning the whole bowl thick and frothy. The recipe makes enough for a crowd of around 30, and it is flexible: the vodka and juice can go up or down to taste, but keep the lime drink mix and sherbet as written, since they are what give it the monster-green color.

Bartenders tip: Let the sherbet soften for a few minutes before adding it so it melts evenly. Stir well so the drink mix fully dissolves, or it will sit at the bottom as a gritty layer. Label it clearly, because it looks just like a kid-friendly punch. For a family version, leave out the vodka and top with lemon-lime soda.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle (750 ml) Vodka
- 64 oz Fruit Juice
- 3 packets Unsweetened Lime Drink Mix (such as Kool-Aid)
- 1 gallon Lime Sherbet
- 3 pieces Fresh Fruit, sliced (such as limes, kiwi and green apple)
Steps
- Combine the fruit juice and lime drink mix in a large punch bowl or tub and stir until the mix dissolves.
- Add the vodka and the lime sherbet, and stir until the sherbet is completely melted into the punch.
- Add the sliced fruit and serve.
- Adjust the amount of vodka and juice to taste, but keep the drink mix and sherbet as written for the color.
