Profile
The Picker’s Peach is a blended, fruit-heavy sipper built around real peach and peach schnapps, with a two-rum base (dark and white) to keep it from tasting like straight fruit juice. Pecher Mignon, a peach liqueur, doubles down on the stone fruit character, while fresh lemon and orange juice keep things balanced instead of syrupy sweet. It’s the kind of drink you’d expect to see at an orchard bar in late summer, when peaches are actually good.
Because it’s blended with crushed ice, it comes out with a light, slushy texture rather than a clear cocktail, more dessert-adjacent than spirit-forward, though the two rums still give it some backbone.
Glass: Collins glass | Strength: Medium | Serves: 1 | Prep Time: 5 minutes
Bartender’s tip: Use a ripe peach, not a firm one. An underripe peach won’t blend smoothly and will leave the drink a little fibrous instead of silky. If fresh peaches aren’t in season, a few extra ounces of peach schnapps can fill the gap, though you’ll lose some of the real fruit texture.
