The Bloody Brain is a close cousin of the Brain Hemorrhage, with the grenadine added drop by drop instead of drizzled on top. Peach schnapps goes in first, a little Irish cream is floated on top, and drops of grenadine are added one at a time so they bleed down through the cream in red streaks.
The acidity in the schnapps makes the Irish cream curdle into clumps that look disturbingly like brain tissue, which is exactly the point. It sounds awful, but it tastes like peaches and cream with a little cherry sweetness from the grenadine.

Bartenders tip: Chill the schnapps but not the Irish cream, since the curdling effect is more dramatic when the cream is a little warmer. Add the grenadine one drop at a time from a small spoon or dropper so it forms distinct red veins instead of sinking in one blob.

- Pour the peach schnapps into a shot glass.
- Gently float the Irish cream on top by pouring it slowly over the back of a bar spoon.
- Add the grenadine in separate drops so it bleeds down through the cream, and serve.
