Toxic Waste

Toxic Waste gets its name from a bit of color chemistry. Blue curaçao and orange juice mix into a murky, radioactive-looking green, and a splash of triple sec adds extra orange sweetness. It is poured over ice in a tall glass and stirred, and that is the whole recipe.

For something that looks hazardous, it drinks remarkably easy. It is basically a bright, orange-forward screwdriver without the vodka, sweet and fruity with a light kick from the two orange liqueurs. That makes it a good lighter option on a Halloween menu full of strong drinks.
